Bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula) სტვენია

Bullfinch is a lovely bird, a bit bigger than the sparrow.

Female is grey and black with distinctive white stripe on top of the tail. The
male is red and black instead; although same white stripe is present (bottom shot).

They are memorable species because of the distinctive whistling sound.

They come second in my ''Bird Collection'' folder so far. Not an impressive story that I could think of at first go, but it is impressive to gaze at them from the distance when they grab the bud, or fly around. Definitely cute ones! And what about the name?! Bullfinch - ain't it awesome?
